As of 10 PM, December 14, Nona was spotted 325 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar, moving westwards at 19 kph. It had maximum sustained winds of 150 kph and gusts of up to 185 kph. Estimated rainfall amount within the typhoon's 300 km diameter was from moderate to heavy.
